Telefónica O2, UK
Telefónica O2 have over 450 retail stores in the UK and are on a fast-paced and ambitious digital journey. When O2 wanted to create a single internal channel to speak to its store population in a fast, engaging manner a private mobile App was the obvious choice.
The App is used as an integral part of O2’s daily team “buzz” meetings – these short, snappy meetings are an opportunity for teams to check-in with each other, stay on top of company news and share ideas for improving customer service and experience.
Given the pace of innovation and change in stores, communication the App plays a vital role in helping the store population be:

Sodexo is one of the largest companies in the world, with over 400,000 employees, representing 130 nationalities, present on 34,000 sites in 80 countries.
Sodexo Canada approached TheAppBuilder to create a private App to engage thousands of frontline employees in geographically dispersed units all across the country.
The App is used to communicate company news, training tools, links to websites and additional employee resources.
The App’s content is updated frequently from Sodexo’s regional Head Office in Toronto with updates available on all sites within seconds.
The App is deployed to hundred’s of fixed iPad kiosks and remotely updated using TheAppBuilder’s non-technical Content Management System.
Heathrow Airport, UK
As Europe’s busiest airport Heathrow Airport employs around 7000 operations staff most of whom are shift based to provide 24/7 service to the airlines and passengers. The non-stop nature of Heathrow and a non-desk based workforce combine to create a significant internal communications challenge.
When asked how internal communication could be improved Heathrow employees themselves suggested a mobile app to deliver daily content to all operational staff and facilitate real time feedback.
After receiving expensive quotations from bespoke app development houses, Heathrow’s Internal Comms Team connected with TheAppBuilder to rapidly develop and launch a private internal comms app for a fraction of the cost.

Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL)
IPL is the most-watched Twenty20 cricket league in the world, taking place over 8 cities right across India.
Bringing the IPL to a global TV audience is a huge logistical exercise involving hundreds of technical contractors working across the country.
When IPL’s TV production company needed to ensure all of their staff had the information at hand they approached TheAppBuilder to create a private mobile App.
The App contains travel information, logistics, directions and advice and general information and accessed by staff on their smart phones and tablets and updated centrally from the production companies headquarters in London.
Mercedes Benz, South Africa
Launching the new E-Class was a major event for Mercedes Benz in South Africa with journalists from major publications flying in from all over the world.
Ensuring the event ran like clockwork and the attendees were impressed was vital to the success of the launch.

Senate of the Republic, Mexico
The Senate of the Republic is the upper house of the Mexico Government, made up of 128 senators.
With a very busy schedule of debates, committees and speeches, the Senate decided to equip Senators with an App to keep up to date.
The Senate worked with TheAppBuilder to create a private mobile App contain News, Papers, Meeting Minutes, Videos and Photos.
Each Senator was equipped with an iPad to access the app which is updated frequently throughout the day from TheAppBuilder’s non-technical Content Management System.
